Steve Amos won the sports journalism award at the 2018 Hastings Literary Festival for ‘Fathers and Sons - Four Generations of Supporting Palace’. His story ‘The Last Days of Woolworths’ won the Limnisa International Short Story Competition in 2011, and in the same year ‘Bike Ride to the Bathing Pool’ won the Stories of St Leonards competition.
