Bronwen Griffiths is the author of two published
novels – A Bird in the House, 2014 and Here Casts No
Shadow, 2018, and a book of short fictions, Not Here, Not
Us – Stories of Syria. Her flashes have been published by
Bath Flash Fiction, Barren Magazine, Spelk and Reflex
Fiction, among others. She currently lives on the East
Sussex/Kent border.
Both real and fantastical, this
collection of flash fictions
explores the author’s childhood
in the 1960’s. These are stories
of family life and the wider
community of the village
of Belbroughton in North
Worcestershire, as well as the
social changes of this time.
